Sara – Class of 2010

Can you say GOR-GEOUS!?!?!? We were thrilled to photograph Sara’s dad’s wedding this summer (see Dawn & Jay under weddings) so we knew we had a natural beauty on our hands! Photographing Sara at her grandparent’s house in these fall colors was amazing. We could have been there all day with all the cool knooks & crannies. She’s a natural in front of the camera so much that I couldn’t help but snag the camera from Orin a couple times to snap a few myself. Enjoy the sneak peak!

Tasha…such a good girrrrrrl

If you know Orin & I, you know what puppy lovers we are. We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take a portrait of Tasha for her mommy’s new company launch at http://petairapy.com/ . Annette tried to convince us that Tasha was going to be difficult to get a good expression out of, but as you can see here, she was a little DIVA! She knows how to work it baby!!

Here’s a couple that found our website and loved it enough to have us do their engagement session. Ahhh, shucks guys…thanks!! Well, I’m sure glad they were as cute as can be together…we don’t get up for an 8am session on a Sunday for just anyone. As you can see below, their chemistry is amazing together. You’d never know it was 37 degrees out – these two are HOT baby! Thanks for a great time guys!

E does GAP!

We went to visit little E at her mom’s gorgeous store to take some model headshots for them. I wish I looked this good when I’m sick! She pretty much looked beautiful in EVERY darn picture which makes editing very difficult! Glad that’s the job for mom & dad! Enjoy your sneak peak & let us know if GAP calls! Bella Bridal and Formalwear

What fun we had at Bella Bridal and Formalwear! While photographing some gorgeous new dresses from their new line, we met one of their newest consultants who doubled as our GORGEOUS model! Brianne, you totally rocked those dresses…so much so, we had to share a few of our favs…let us know what YOU think! Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis

Here’s something you don’t see every day. Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis and Fats Domino -  three of the greatest ivory ticklers of their day – playing pianos on the same stage at the same time. 

This is a once in a lifetime appearance and one you will not forget!   Ron Woods of the Rolling Stones, Carl Perkins (Blue Suede Shoes) and others playing ‘Back-Up’, and all directed by Paul Schaeffer.  

 It’s the jam session of a lifetime as the three greatest rock ‘n’ roll piano players in the world share the stage for the first and only time. Shot at the historic Storybille night club in New Orleans , Fats & Friends features Fats Domino, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Ray Charles strutting their stuff, individually and collectively. Also onstage are Rolling Stones’ guitarist Ron Wood, drummer exraordinaire Steve Jordan and musical director Paul Shaffer (from Late Show with David Letterman).

Heidi + Joel

BEEEAAA-UUUU-TI-FUL!! Only one way to describe Heidi on her big day! Mention Joel’s name and she actually sparkled! I don’t know what was brighter: the bride or the gorgeous sunny day outside! Perfect weather for the perfect couple on their perfect day…just a FEW of our favs to get excited about. Don’t forget to check out that cake topper…most unique (and funny) ever! In all my years of weddings, this was a first!

Nashville or Bust!!!

Orin & I went to see one of our fav photogs speak this past Monday, David Ziser. You all may not know him, but in the photographic industry, he’s an amazing award-winning, internationally known wedding photographer. Orin has studied his infamous lighting techniques which many of you have enjoyed in our photography we do for you. David and his wonderful wife, LaDawn, drove to IL from KY two years ago when I threw a surprise birthday party for Orin. It took Orin 1.5 hrs to realize that “they” were his present. We still talk about their generosity for that wonderful weekend to this day.

Well, they just seem to be our lucky charms, because at David’s seminar, Orin won a package for 2 to National Convention for PPA (Professional Photographers of America) in Nashville in January 2010. Can’t tell how excited we are…and you know me, the quiet one, yoo-hooing in a room of 350 peeps…no doubt who won, that’s for sure!!

Gena + Joel

Okay, these two win “most goo-goo over each other”. We started off with a great engagement session with these two, clicked like friends & we could hardly wait til their big day. Well I knew we were all on the save wavelength when Gena had my two fav flowers in her bouquets…not to mention the romance these two have goin’ on. Joel, the songwriter/musician, rocked the reception with his brother singin’ a song written just for Gena. After all these years, I’m still such a sucker…sniff, sniff…
